Am glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for reaching out.

I had googled myself to track the reporting of one of my recent cases. I was intrigued by the entry - Robert Fortune in pictures. In addition to the usual pictures of my great great x4 or x5 uncle, the botanist, looking dour and severe, I was alarmed to see one of me, and surprised to see one of a very attractive young woman.
I heard your book when it was serialised on the radio, and I enjoyed it very much. It is an interesting story which deserved to be better known. I have some of the original editions of RF's travels, very well written for a man who left school so young. I hope your book did well; I was amused to see you plugging it in an item about skype. Best wishes, Robert FortuneSarah, I discovered your website quite by chance. I had googled myself to track the reporting of one of my recent cases.
